I am very upset that each year you keep raising your ticket prices and the entertainment gets worse. Why do you always bring in so many repeats. Some of these people we have seen several times at SSC and some of the other ones, aren’t worth the drive to see them. Why not bring in some bigger names and cut the line-up to pay for it. Also, what a terrible idea to raise the ticket prices that high after May 1. Our group usually doesn’t buy the tickets until the first part of June. Who wants to be out that money that soon. We have been coming there since you started SSC but we will definitely be giving it more thought on whether we will be coming this year. What a disappointment this concert has become the last few years.

I’m sorry that the changes are upsetting. At the end of the day, Star Spangled Celebration needs to run like a business, with the biggest difference being that we donate the proceeds to the community. We reevaluate our pricing and policies every year, trying to balance reducing our risk and providing the best concert experience possible.
As for the line-up, if you have strong opinions, please fill out a survey available at the ticket office on concert grounds. We try to meet the requests of the fans, within our budget. For example, Neal McCoy is the most requested act, year after year, which is why we try to book him every few years.
We believe this is one of the best line ups in years and have gotten great feedback. We are sorry you are disappointed but hope you still attend and the bands change your mind.
Sincerely,
Jan Brockway, President, SSC

The only thing I have missed in the past couple of years is the bands that used to play early in the day they were usually up and coming bands that I had never heard of as I do not follow the country music scene that closely but I was always amazed at the shows they put on, one that really stood out was the Clark family experience. You guys really do put on an amazing show especially considering the extremely low price of admission compared to other festivals in the state in some cases it cost less than 1/2 as much attend Starspangled. This is why I continue to be a strong supporter of, and participant in Starspangled every year.
Thank you for all you do
