About
Welcome to Star Spangled Celebration 2008.
Star Spangled Celebration is a charitable, non-profit organization that brings you an annual country music festival held each year the last full weekend of June in Richland Center, Wisconsin. Proceeds from the festival are put back into the community each year through various groups working for the betterment of the community.
Unlike most festivals, Star Spangled Celebration is organized by a volunteer board of directors and one full-time staff member. More than 900 volunteers from throughout the community work during the weekend in food stands, as ticket takers, throughout the entire grounds wherever they may be needed.
A main focus of the group is to keep the weekend affordable for family entertainment. While a three-day pass is only $70.00 and children 11 and under are free with an adult, the expenses are still very high to put on a show of this magnitude. Over 200 businesses from the area work together as sponsors of the festival to keep ticket prices affordable so the entire family can attend the shows.
