Lots of news about Billy Ray Cyrus on his website.  He and Miley are hosting the CMT music awards.  He will host the 6th season of Nashville Star in June.  He just wrapped up production on the movie, “Flying By” based on a song by that name from his most recent album, Home At Last.  He’s working on 2 feature films, “Bait Shop”  and “Hannah Montana”; his follow-up album; and the 3rd season of the Hannah Montana series!  AND he is coming to Star Spangled Celebration in Richland Center Saturday, June 28.

Billy Ray Cyrus is in the running for Best Tear-Jerker Video of the Year with “Ready, Set, Don’t Go”, his hit with his daughter, teen pop sensation - Miley. Newcomer Luke Bryan’s “All My Friends Say” is in the running for Best Comedy Video of the Year (best humor and wit) and Weekend Breakthrough Video of the Year (best video from a debut album).
